I’m May Parsons, a proud Filipino-British nurse who’s deeply honored to serve in the UK, where I’ve called home since 2003. Born and raised in the Philippines, I’ve always held a strong passion for helping others, a path that led me to work for our beloved NHS.
You might recognise me as the nurse who had the incredible privilege of administering the world’s first Covid-19 vaccine outside of clinical trials to Margaret Keenan in December 2020. That moment was a true testament to the power of healthcare and the dedication of nurses everywhere.
As a proud Thomasian nurse, my heart lies in supporting others, especially my fellow Filipinos from disadvantaged backgrounds, in pursuing their nursing qualifications. I want to help them realise their dreams, whether they choose to serve locally or internationally.
This charity was born from a desire to change lives—one nurse at a time—by opening doors of opportunity and uplifting individuals who need it most. I warmly invite you to join me on this journey of hope and empowerment. Together, we can make a lasting impact!
